UrlElf.com is a URL shortening tool that anyone can use to create "vanity" short URLs. You can create short URLs based on your own domain name. For example, if you had a blog at example.com and you created a blog entry that had the URL: http://example.com/archive/the-best-blog-article-ever UrlElf.com can shorten this to something like http://l.example.com/kdfasl3. This allows you to keep your branded domain name in the short URL while keeping it relatively short.
The only setup requred to do this is to add a CNAME record for your the DNS of your domain. We would suggest using something like l.example.com or link.example.com (where example.com is replaced by your actual domain name) and create a CNAME record that points to links.urlelf.com. You can then go to your link.example.com website and generate short URLs for your website.
